Hello Joyce,

It’s been some time that we spoke, and I’m curious to know how you’re doing?
Is everything fine?

I’ve had a quick look at your list of supplements and I miss another one,Alpha-Lipoic acid.

If I ask you nicely, can you add this one as well? :P

You have to take 100mg 2x a day.

Do you still have regular contact with your cardiologist? Or do you still have an appointment for this year?

Hope to hear from you soon,

Love,

Hello Corrij:

It was so nice to hear from you again. I'm fine and haven't had any
problems with the supplements. I've added the Alpha-Lipoic Acid to my
supplement list and will get some this week. Do I need to take it with
or without food? I put all my supplements on a spreadsheet and the
instructions for each so I can check them off each day as I take them. :P
This helps me a lot to remember which ones to take at meals, at
bedtime, etc. I'm very committed to Willy's program and will follow it exactly.

I have an appointment to see my cardiologist on Oct. 11. They will do
another echocardiogram at that time. They do one every year and then tell
me I need a heart transplant. My ejection fraction is always 15% and I
don't expect it to be up this time since I only recently started
Willy's program. I'm excited about next years test results. I know
with Willy's program, it will show improvements.

I feel so much better and have noticed these changes. I sleep less and
don't need naps during the day. I can think clearer. I don't crave
sweets like I did. I am losing weight. My tummy is shrinking. I
think this is because I retain water there instead of my ankles. I
still walk on my treadmill everyday but am not pushing myself as you suggested.

I can't thank you and Willy enough for what you've done for me. I
don't write often because I don't want to take up so much of your web space and
time. I know it's gonna take a while for the supplements to work. I also
know you have a lot of others who need your time and attention. So,
don't ever worry about losing me.

I tried to reply in the forum but everything is in Dutch except the
body of the forum. Heck, I can't figure out which one is reply. I'm
sorry. I will post this email to the board when I can see the English
Reply button again when I visit the forum. I will also reply to Willy's
message then. I miss him too.

Love,

Joyce

Hi Joyce,

I’m glad there is some progress and of course I don’t expect either that your EJF will be higher
next time you visit your cardiologist. But next year it will, that’s what we are working on.

You already notice the benefits of these supplements, so we won’t be needing that transplant. :P

Joyce please don’t worry about taking up my time, or too much space on the forum. I like
doing it and by telling your story on the forum you might help a lot of people who have already given up hope.

You can take the Alpha - Lipoic acid with meals together with other supplements.

Well Joyce, continue like this and don’t hesitate to ask me if you want to know something.

I hear from you soon.

Love,

Corrij

Hi Joyce,

It’s been a while since we last heard from you.

If I’m right you’ve been to see your cardiologist? How did it go?

Have you had any surprises or disappointments?

Hope to hear from you soon,

Love,

Corrij

Hi Corrij:

It is so nice to hear from you. I was thinking about you and Willy and wondering when I would hear from you again. I've missed talking to you both. I did go see my doctor and there is no change. So, that is good since I've only been using the supplements such a short period of time. I didn't expect changes so soon. I am feeling a lot better and still have a lot more energy than I did before I started the supplements. I can't wait till next year at this time to have another echocardiogram done. I just know it will show improvements.

Thank you so much for keeping track of my progress and loved hearing from you.

Love,
Joyce

Diagnostic tests will provide an objective status of your medical situation, but.....................

Feeling better is also an important signal. Please provide a short list of the supplements you use at the moment and the daily dosis. Just to check.

Hello Joyce,

A few weeks ago I started to read your stories in this forum.
However my English is not bat, it always takes some more time to read than the Dutch stories.
I red that you tried to follow the Dutch forum, but I can imagine that this is almost impossible when you don’t know anything of our language.
So I decided to give you a message en tell you how we are doing, so you know sure that Corrij and Willy are telling you the truth :o (this is a joke! We love them as much as you do and we all are very happy they get into our lives and helping us to get better)

I recognize a lot in your history.
In my case it also take some time before my doctor send me to cardiology.
When I finely get there the cardiologists also diagnosed idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, probably caused by an (virus) infection.
And she was shocked to see how bad the condition of my hart was.
I always was a very busy lady (47 years old) and suddenly it was better that I take my rest and take care so my hart will not get to much work to do

A big difference is that we found Willy immediately and started his protocol 4 month later.
That was in September 2004 and now I am more than one year later.
I feel a big difference in condition with last year.
Three month ago I started an training program in the hospital with a physiotherapist who only works with hart patients.
He is very surprised what I can do with the status of my hart, he saw in the papers.
With his training I learned what I can do and how far I can go also at home, so now I do much more than I did before and I don’t feel bad during it or afterwards

Next week, Friday the 11th of November I get my next echocardiogram and I am really exited about the result we get.
Last echocardiogram I had was in December 2004 and that gives the bad hart with an ejection fraction of 25%

Another lady of our forum, Nynke, who just started 3 month ago with Willy’s protocol, had last week the results of an echocardiogram and there they saw already that the hart was starting to get better!

Until now everybody who seriously started with the protocol of Willy is at least feeling better and sometimes even changes from ‘ordering a wheelchair into getting out on the bicycle again’.
It is a pity you can not read it all, but maybe I can give you some updates sometimes (gives me a change to practise my English a bit, with great thanks to my spellings control)

Best regards, Marion. :P

Hi Corrij:

Thank you for sending me Marion's message. I am posting a reply below so you can post it to the forum. It really touched my heart.

Love, Joyce

Hi Marion:

I read your post from the forum and appreciate so much your writing to me. I know it's hard because it's in English. I found a website that will translate any language. It's free and the web site is http://www.worldlingo.com/en/products_s ... lator.html All you need to do is go to the web site, copy the text you want translated and paste it into the blank box , then choose which language you are translating from and to. It's very simple. I just found it and am thrilled!

I'm happy to hear you are feeling so much better on Willy's protocol and am looking forward to hearing the results of your November 11th echocardiogram. My echocardiogram has stayed at 15% for the past 6 years. I finally have hope that it can go up now and can't wait till I get an echo after being on the protocol a year. Thanks for sharing the information on Nynke. It makes me so happy to hear others are getting better.

I'd love to have updates from you and as I said before you can type them in Dutch and I can get them translated at the web site I was telling you about.

Warmest thoughts and wishes for you,

Joyce

Hi Joyce,

Thank you of bordering of finding the translating site.
Maybe it is a good idea for all of us, so we can communicate without any blockage!
I’m really curious to receive your first translated message in the Dutch forum :D (mine you can find under auteur ‘Marion’ but I think you already quested  )

I went this morning for the Echoscope and I’m sorry I can not give you the results yet!
In January I have an appointment with my cardio loge and he will tell me what the results are of this Echo!
I’m afraid I was a bit overenthusiastic  and hoped the lady who did the Echo would give me the results immediately.
Before I had another lady who gave me more information.

So when I know more in January I tell you.
For now I leave it so far, this was a very busy week for me.
Soon I will make some more time to write to you, but I could imaging that you were curious to here the results of today.

Best wishes, Marion. :P
