I am feeling great
Corrij and Willie,
I am doing well, and continue on the supplement protocol which I follow strictly as you have directed. I have another appointment with the cardiologist next month. Just a checkup, no testing. We will do another test of heart function in June or July (an angiograph, I believe). My blood pressure had been high until recently, and now it is normal again. Probobaly a combination of Coreg and the cardiomyopathy protocol. I am very hopeful my ejection fraction will be elevated from 40 when the next testing is conducted. Thanks for your inquiry. I really appreciate all you have done for me.
Regards,
Geoff

Doctor visit
Corrij,
Thank you very much for your inquiry. I will be seeing the cardiologist this week. However, no testing is scheduled. It is only a "how you doing" type check up. I will let you know how it goes.
Sincerely,
Geoff

How I am feeling.
Willie,
Thank you for inquiring. I must admit that I feel about the same as when I began the protocol. However, I never had any symptoms of dilated cardiomyopathy such as fatigue or shortness of breath. I have always been and continue to be active. My ejection fraction was 40, and I hope to have a higher number when the next check is done, in June-July timeframe.
I am very optimistic I will see good results from this protocol you and Corrij have devised. I thank you both very much.

Cardiologist visit
Hello,
I saw my cardiologist last week. He said all is progressing well, and was somewhat surprised that due to the Coreg medication I wasn't feeling a "WOW" better. However, I have never felt I had any significant symptoms which would indicate that my heart is in its current condition. Dr. has added an ACE inhibitor, and wants to do an ECHO in May. I am hopeful I will see an improvement in my ejection fraction at that time.

Hello Geoff,
Thank you for your message
I also hope that there is any improvement in your EF fractoin.
Remember that you started the protocol in November,so it will be very very soon if there is an improvement in your EF in May.
Regards,
Corrij

Amino Acid and the Stomach
Corrij,
I have recently developed a pain in my stomach. I am wondering if it may be some gastric pain due to the high doses of amino acids I am taking with the protocol. Have any other patients had similar complaints?

Hello Geoff,
I think its the alpha lipioc acid who`s giving you a pain in the stomach.
Do you take it with youre meals?
You can open the capsule and put the alpha lipioc on a spoon with some yoghurt.
What kind of brand alpha do you take?
greetings,
Corrij

Stomach pain
Corrij,
Thanks for your reply. I am taking Alpha Lipoic Acid manufacutured by NOW. I take 200mg 30 mins prior to dinner, daily. I thought this was best
taken on an empty stomach
The soreness in my stomach is just under my rib cage at the top of my stomach.
The doctor has prescribed AcipHex.
I am open to any suggestion you have.
Thank you.

Hi Geoff,
The alpha lipioc from the brand NOW is the best
Just take it with youre meal like I suggest earlier.
Most off the people react better if they take it together with their meals,or put it into a little bit of yoghurt.
If I`m right youre stomach pain should be over.
Try it for a few days and please let me know how youre doing,
greetings,
Corrij

Corrij,
Thank you, I will try this. Could any of the other amino acids be causing this.
