Over the past six weeks, I have made a few minor changes to the supplements I take. I have consulted with a naturopath who is supposed to be an expert in matters relating to cardiology, and I am now taking:
CoQ-10, 100 mg. 2-3 times a day;
Magnesium Taurate, 125 mg, 2 times a day;
D-Ribose, 5 g, 1-2 times a day;
L-Carnitine, 500 mg, 1 time per day;
Taurine, 3 g, 1-2 times a day;
Vitamin D3, 4000 IU, 1 time per day.
I was taking all of these except Taurine before consulting the naturopath, but some of the doses have been adjusted.
I am also taking a cleansing/chelating formula that includes EDTA, chlorella, NAC, ALI. garlic extract and cilantro extract. In addition, I am taking fish oil capsules about 3 times per week.
At times over the past several months I have tried taking hawthorn and arjuna. However, I did not see any improvement from using those, so I am no longer using either.
These supplements are in addition to the pharmaceuticals I am taking - lisinopril, metoprolol and mexiletine.
