We got our firsts tests from the hospital where she first got hospitalizated for the bronquilitis, and then they foun de miocardyopathy. It says BNP 2300 PG/ML (regular valiu under 142 PG/ML)
is that what you ask for? what´s that mean??? she is super high!!!!

I do not understand de carnitine dosis because I do not understand what you wrote about it

A 70 kg adult will get 3 x 2 x 330 mg = 1980 mg per day

That is 282 mg carnitine / kg

So 300 mg carnitine / kg is fine and I would not argue with the doctor if the dosis is higher

But NOT LOWER then 300mg carnitine / kg weight

Because carnitine is as Q10 extremely safe

Now you have to calculate the per day dosis for your dougther based on her weight

HOW MUCH does your doughter weigh at the moment in kilograms

Yes that is the correct bloodtest. It means that your dougther has heart failure and that here body complains about it by making a high BNP

Now we have a target to work from. We want this value --> 50

But do not worry so much about it Emma the doughter of Saskia had a BNP of 35.000 going steadily down, now 154

ok aghhhh, well, we{re goin to meke the blood test to discard mithocondrial, then home, then cardiologist, so freaking nervous today!

The carnitine we have is 1g/10ml

Check this on the bottle, it should what the dose is!

And what dosis is Emma getting 300mg / kg??

the carnitine bottle will be at pharmacy around sunset, and Q10 tomorrow 16 pm

6.720jk, and 5ml of carnitine, I think it´s 10 mg, I have to cheeck the bottle today because I sont understand the doctor´s writing

Emma was on 4ml twice a day
And now 5ml twice a day (so Total of 1g a day)
And she weighs 12,5kg

And 10 mg is wrong as a per day dosis

So please find out what is going on there

sorry, I was writing with the cellphone and type wrong, she is 6.720 KG. I´ll going to pharmacy after the cardiologist and look what exactly says in thhe bottle.

I checked the calculation. And I made a mistake

1980 mg for a 70 kg adult is not 282 mg / kg but 28,2 mg / kg

Om average 30 mg / kg. For your doughter this will be 8 x 30 = 226 mg per day

Since carnitine is extremely save this dose could wel be 300 or 600 a day

BUT NOT LESS THEN 300 mg per day
