Hello Corrij

Well I had to order the D-Ribose Powder. It came in today its a NOW product. I read the instructions and now I have a question. It is saying to take one teaspoon daily. Is that the amount you would like me to take? Serving size is 1 level teaspoon (3.4 g). Also what do I do, just put it in a glass of water and drink it? Before or After meals or it doe not matter? I dont go for another echo until March. I will keep you updated on any progress. I hope everything is going well for you & Ill keep you updated. Thank You very much and have a great holiday!! :)

Hello David,

The amount I suggest is a little bit higher :D
People with heartfailure should take four table spoons, about 12 gram a day, you can do the ribose in a glass of water and drink it  I should take it after breakfast or lunch.

Thank you for asking, I am doing very well.It seems the winter is arrived in the Netherlands, its freezes here a little bit, thats better than all that rain.

A very nice Cristmass time for you to<a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... /page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_4_11.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... e.gif"></a>

Hello Corrij :)

Sorry I havent been on here in a while, I try the best I can to forget about this for my own sanity. BUT I had my 6 month echo last week (last one was last Nov). I went to my cardiologist yesterday and ITS GETTING BETTER!!! I realize there is still a long road ahead, but after a year of stress since finding this out its nice to walk out of the Drs with a small smile! My EF went from 25% to 40%...my heart size which was minor enlargement has decreased some! So what do you think now? Stick with the same supplements and doses I have been taking or should I change up some things? Once again I could never thank you enough for all your guidance and concern during all this. :P Hope you liked to hear the news as much as I did.

Thanks

David

Hello David,

CONGRETULATIONS<a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... /page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_201.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... e.gif"></a>

You make my day :D

Try to accept the fact that youre having CMP, this is important. You think, if I don`t think about it it doesn`t exist, that`s wrong David, by accepting starts the healing process.

Can you give me the list of the supplements and the amounts your taking?

greetings,
Corrij

Hi Corrij

Just came home and winding down from a much needed vacation. Here are the supplements you have me taking.

CoQ10- 100mg 2x day
Taurine - 500mg 3x day
Alpha Lipoic - 400mg 1x day
Selenium - 200mg 1x day
Vitamin E- 400IU 1x day
Vitamin C - 1000mg 3x day
L-Carnitine - 500mg 3x day
Chromium Picolinate - 400mcg 1x day
D Ribose- 12 gram a day
Tri-Amino Caps - 2 capsules twice a day (like directions say)
-------L-arginine- 1,200mg
-------L-ornithine- 1000mg
-------L-lysine- 900mg
Fish Oil Caps - 1000mg 2x day

Doctor has me taking Coreg 50mg 2x day and Vasotec 10mg 1x day.

And what I meant in the last post about me trying to forget about this "problem" was that I try not to let it consume my life and always be on my mind. I try and "forget" about it. I understand that it is a really long road and im going to keep moving on.

Thanks

David

Hi David,

I hope that your vacation was very nice and relaxing, sometimes a human needs a break :D

Your list of supplements is very complete the only thing I miss is magnesium and the best form is magnesium aspartate 200 mg a day.

Vasotec can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can further lower your blood pressure and may increase some of the side effects of Vasotec. Do not use salt substitutes or potassium supplements while taking Vasotec, unless your doctor has told you to.

Coreg,
Beta-blockers work by blocking a hormone in your body that can raise your blood pressure and heart rate. By reducing these effects, beta-blockers bring your blood pressure and heart rate down, which helps to reduce the heart's workload and enables it to not pump as hard. COREG CR helps ease your heart's workload, strengthens it after you've had a heart attack that reduced how well your heart pumps and provides daily cardio-protection.

greetings,
Corrij

Hello David,

And congratulations from me too :D I've also known about my CM for just under 12 months, and it takes a bit of getting used to. All the best - I hope you have good support along the way and that there is someone to walk with you on this journey. Take care.
